Question: How old will the puppy be when they are ready for their new home?Answer: We pick the weekend that falls between 7 and 8 weeks of age. Question: What comes with the puppy?Answer: Each puppy will have their dewclaws removed, a microchip, their first vaccination, dewormer, and a veterinary exam. Our puppy package includes: AKC paperwork, a small bag of dog food, a written 26-month health guarantee and educational/training material! Question: How much does a puppy cost?Answer: A puppy costs $1200 (Male or Female). (Both the Tess and Libby Litters). We accept cash, check, Paypal and credit (all cards). Question: How do a guarantee myself a pick from the litter?Answer: We accept $250 deposits (check, Paypal or credit). This will reserve a pick in the litter. A deposit must select a color and a gender (male or female). The order of deposits received will establish a picking order. If you come to pick up your pup and find him or her unsuitable, your deposit will be refunded. Please email prospectkennels@gmail or call (209-256-3218) if you are interested in placing a deposit. Question: What if I get last pick?Answer: Our litters come from long lines of exceptional dogs. This makes for litters in which all the puppies are a nice pick. If it were not for different color collars....keeping track of who is who would be impossible. We are proud of our puppies and know they each have great potential. Having seen many of our pups back for boarding and training the similarities amongst littermates is amazing!Question: Will my puppy be AKC registered?Answer: Yes. We will provide you with an AKC registration package. The registration will be “limited”. We offer the ability to convert to “full” registration at 2 years. Contact us for details if you are interested in “full” registration.Question: What food do you feed?Answer: We feed Eukanuba Large Breed puppy. This is a high quality food, which produces nice even growth over year one. Plus it makes for exceptional hair coats! Question: Do you have a Health Guarantee?Answer: Yes.
